kanamaluka/tamar infrastructure and amenities master plan
The Kanamaluka/Tamar Infrastructure and Amenities Master Plan addresses over 5 kilometres of waterfront across two local government areas around Launceston in northern Tasmania. The project reimagines the relationship between the city and its estuary. Upgrades are proposed to the shared path network, and underutilised spaces are reimagined as recreational and cultural precincts where the community can gather, recreate, and connect with the landscape. By working with natural systems rather than against them, the project transforms the estuary from a perceived problem into a valued asset, creating a more connected, inclusive, and resilient waterfront.
