kororoit creek burnside heights

FFLA prepared a master plan, design development and documentation of landscape works. The existing landscape was a focus, with ecological burns (to activate the seed bank and reduce competition from weed species) featuring as part of site management over 3 years. Ecologically significant landscapes were retained with strongly contrasting design elements added that provide a recreational focus within the less environmentally sensitive parts of the site. The project included construction of a shared trail that forms part of the Kororoit Creek Regional Trail.
